Part-time English Online Teacher
at Skalla English Academy in Seoul, Korea
PART-TIME ENGLISH ONLINE TEACHERS NEEDED
A Seoul based institute is looking for English Teachers who can start ASAP.
Responsibilities:
1. The teacher assists the students in correcting their pronunciation/diction and helps them develop their speaking skills.
2. Either free talking class or with the use of a book, the teacher initiates topics and make it interesting for the students.
3. The teacher calls his/her students on time using internet phone (Skype).
4. The teacher checks the attendance of the students and takes note of the topics talked about for the day.
5. Reports to the immediate supervisor for any other concerns.
Requirements:
1. The applicant must have his/her personal computer. It means that the teacher works at the convenience of their home.
2. The applicant can teach from 5:00PM to 11:00PM (Manila local time). The teacher does not necessarily teach 6 hours straight. He can opt to choose the number of hours he/she can teach but must within the set time.
3. Previous teaching English experience. Preferably with North American accent.
4. Patient and kind. (This job requires a lot of patience.)
5. University degree holder.
Additional Position:
We are also looking for a Human Resources Manager. The applicant must satisfy the above-mentioned requirements, and must have a good document management skill. HR Manager takes more responsibility than the normal online teachers, (e.g. recruiting and interviewing teachers, supervising and training all the teachers, monitoring classes etc.) but will be a little bit more highly paid.
