Pico is in need of college students with any of the following courses – Communication Arts, Mass Communication, Literature, or equivalent willing to undergo ON-THE-JOB TRAINING (OJT) for three (3) months. Applicant must be a pro-active and highly organized team player; computer-savvy, with strong editing and research skills; with superior oral and written English communication skills; has an eye for details; and can work under minimum supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in brainstorming for editorial content
• Research photos and secure permission from user.
• Provide captions for photos and other fillers (i.e. trivia).
• Review/fact-check articles and magazine proofs, including photo credits and bylines.
• Assist the Editorial Team in logistics planning for out of town coverage.
• Arrange release of complimentary copies for photo contributors, writers and featured establishments/people.

• Assist Marketing Staff during events.
